ASTM A182  F5  is a heat- and corrosion-resistant stainless steel is used extensively in oil and chemical plants.

This 5% chromium alloy stainless steel is stronger than mild steel at higher temperatures and holds up well in the mild atmospheres found in the petroleum industry
